Weekly Prayer Group
This is a key part of the CBMC ministry. Central to the CBMC ministry is business and professionals meeting weekly for an hour to sharpen, mentor, counsel and praying for one another and others. It is at this level that discipleship takes place as well as mentoring. Outreach efforts are birthed here. Discouraged followers are encouraged here. The unfitted are empowered here. Most CBMC groups meet on a weekly basis. Men and women meet in separate teams.
The weekly team meeting is usually where the participant begins to experience community and relationship develops. Being together regularly in an environment that is safe, open, and transparent, and are able to spend time together praying, focusing on the scriptures, challenging and encouraging each other in the basics of their spiritual lives, and developing their personal ministry of evangelism and discipleship.
